On November 5th 2014 the 4th Progress Meeting of the BioFoamBark project took place in Madrid, Spain. The organizer Maite Moreira Vilar could welcome 10 participants at the Casa de Galicia which is situated between the Museo del Prado and the Parque de El Retiro.
The most recent updates and results were presented and discussed. A few months before the end of the BioFoamBark project most of the work has now been conducted. An important part of the meeting was dedicated to the preparation of a proposal for a strategy for bark and tannin valorization for European partner countries which will be presented at a final workshop taking place in Ljubljana (Slovenia) in May 2015. Interested stakeholders are invited to participate at the workshop (more detailed information will be provided soon). At the end of the day the attendees agreed that the meeting was very effective and agreeable helping to finalize the project.
